Today I travel light! the leica M9 and two objectives, the whole for about 2 kilograms !
The camera bag is much smaller, discreet and it does not pose a problem to have with you all day.
I dont regret my Nikon D700, even if as i said, its a good camera.
What I like the Leica M9 is the ease of use and accuracy of the
rangefinder system. In fact, if your subject is over 10 meters, then you
just have to frame and press the shutter button to take a picture.
Simpler, it is difficult.
The camera alone is less than 600 grams but contains a full frame captor !
Lenses are small and light too.
The ergonomics of the camera allows the photographer to take pictures in 15th of a second without moving and without a tripod. That i could not do before with an heavy reflex.
I also learned to take photos without zoom (they are fixed lens) and move myself to take my photos. I also learned to work with one lens. For one morning, I chose for example 35 mm, and the afternoon of 75 mm. This requires more movement and imagination and I find it positive.
