Equipment

What do you need ?

Digital photography has democratized very quickly and is now accessible to all and at prices more affordable. The choice is now immense, we can find cameras at all prices and of any qualityWe can now legitimately ask what is the right machine and what should be the price to acquire it. If you want to know more about digital cameras and their capabilities, you can visit Ken Rockwell's site that describes in detail dozens of cameras.
I think the website of Ken Rockwell is a very interesting toolto think about what photography and type of equipment to choose.

No regret, I changed for a light equipment, but  a very good quality. Away kilos of equipment, if you agree to change you way to take pictures. That's what I did. You use then fixe lenses and you move to find the best place to take your picture. Before, it was comfortable, just had to zoom to get it. But the price to pay is the weight. I always had to carry an very heavy material. Now it's over, i travel with very light material. I had to get used to moving and finding the best place to take pictures. But the quality is here, Leica lenses are really great. Such small camera and great photos.

Rapidly changing technology could change camera all year! That's what I'm doing between 2005 and 2009, from the Nikon D70, the D200, D300 and D700 to. Each time, we can see an image enhancement, but the equipment is heavy and bulky! In 2011, I decided to travel light, and I turned to the Leica M9. It's just incredible to be able to move with as light a material with an image quality as good. This is another way of looking at photography, and I do not regret the step taken. What matters is that the photograph is taken and not the equipment, however sophisticated it may be.
